No difference — two names for the same plant. "Cranberry" is the English name, "veenbes" or "grote veenbes" is the Dutch equivalent. The scientific name Vaccinium macrocarpon refers to the North American species, which is larger and more intense than the European cranberry.
A standardized extract provides a consistent amount of PAC per capsule, which is harder to guarantee with juice. Moreover, juice often contains a lot of sugar — a capsule offers the concentrate without the sugar load. Those who prefer juice can supplement with it, but pay attention to sugar content (choose unsweetened).
Not without caution. Cranberry can enhance the effect of blood thinners like warfarin, which can increase the risk of bleeding. If you are taking these medications, always discuss this with your doctor or pharmacist before starting. Without that consultation, this product is not advisable.
