bestseller in essential fatty acids

high-dose EPA and DHA from fish oil

High-dose EPA and DHA from fish oil in ethyl ester form (73% concentration). Two omega 3 fatty acids that the body does not produce itself — therefore essential through diet or supplements.

who it's for

for those who eat little fatty fish

For those who eat little fatty fish (salmon, mackerel, sardines, herring) and want to supplement their omega 3 intake through another route. For those who choose a high-dose formula with 700 mg EPA and 500 mg DHA per daily dose. For those who value an ethyl ester concentrate instead of loose fish oil capsules with low dosages.

EPA and DHA high-dose heart and brain daily routine
how it works

two fatty acids, three recognized effects

normal brain function

EU Health Claim

normal vision

DHA contributes to the maintenance of normal vision, with a daily intake of at least 250 mg. The same DHA dose supports two EU-recognized effects.

EU Health Claim

normal heart function

EPA and DHA contribute to the normal function of the heart, with a daily combined intake of at least 250 mg. Our formula provides 1200 mg (700 EPA + 500 DHA) — well above the threshold.

frequently asked questions

questions about omega 3 and fish oil

EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid) are both long-chain omega 3 fatty acids. The difference lies in what they are involved in in the body: DHA has EU-recognized effects on brain function and vision, while EPA and DHA together are recognized for heart function. A good formula provides both in adjusted dosages, like this one.
Fish oil exists in different molecular forms. Ethyl ester (EE) is a concentrated form that allows higher dosages in smaller capsules. An alternative is triglyceride (TG) form — both work, with a slight preference in research for TG in some target groups. For most users, it makes no noticeable difference in practice.
Good question. For those who eat fatty fish (salmon, mackerel, sardines, herring, anchovies) 2 to 3 times a week, a supplement is often unnecessary. A supplement is useful for those who eat little fish, for vegetarians (where algae omega-3 is an alternative), or for those who consistently want to get a high dose that is difficult to achieve through diet.
